Lefkara lace, lefkaritika, is one of Cyprus's most treasured crafts and a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. For centuries, the women of Lefkara have embroidered intricate geometric patterns into linen, creating pieces that have travelled far beyond the island and into homes, collections and hearts around the world.

Teaching lefkaritika is at the heart of what we do here at Folkmona to keep this craft alive, accessible, and celebrated.
